Medical Biller and Insurance Specialist Needed!

Job Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Physician and Physical Therapy Medical Biller and Insurance Specialist and contribute to the efficient management of our medical billing processes. This full-time remote position is ideal for a detail-oriented , experience, high level professional medical biller and insurance specialist, who is fluent in Advanced English and experienced in medical billing tasks. Our location is in Los Angeles, California, USA.


Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct insurance verification and re-verification.
- Manage claim batching, uploading, correction, and receipt processing.
- Handle insurance communications, including submitting for authorizations and sending medical notes as requested via fax or email.
- Monitor and record weekly claim deposits and manage outstanding collections.
- Create and distribute superbills to patients.
- Use billing software proficiently to bill medical services, and maintain accurate billing records.


Requirements:

- Must already be an experienced medical biller! Do not apply if you are new or a basic, beginner medical biller. This requirement is for a high level, ADVANCED, skilled medical biller.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies. Do not apply if you are not an ADVANCED ENGLISH SPEAKER.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dependable phone.
- Ability to fax documents and handle sensitive information securely.
- Previous experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and handling authorizations.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
- Hours: Full-time (8 AM - 4 PM or 10 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time USA, Saturdays possibly needed)
- Language: Excellent English communication skills required (C2 level preferred).
