Insurance Verification Specialist (Temporary Position)

Position: Temporary Insurance Verification Specialist
Location: Remote (Work-from-Home)
Time Frame: 1-3 months

Responsibilities:
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
Accurately enter insurance information into EMR systems.
Document benefit details, including coverage, copays, and authorizations.
Communicate with insurance carriers, providers, and patients as needed.
Stay current on insurance policies and procedures.
Work hours 9-5pm Eastern Time (40 hrs/week).

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in insurance verification (5+ years)
Familiarity with multiple EMR systems and healthcare billing (Prompt EMR, Quick EMR, Simple Practice)
Must be willing to work 9-5pm Eastern Time (40 hrs/week).
Must be willing to download Activtrak for monitoring.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Expert in Google Sheets.
