Video Editor for YouTube Automation Channel

We’re looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our growing YouTube automation team. This role is for a faceless YouTube channel, and you’ll collaborate closely with our scriptwriters and channel manager to produce high-quality, engaging videos that captivate and grow our audience.

This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, but timely delivery and adherence to our quality standards are essential.

Responsibilities
- Edit 8-12 minute videos using provided scripts and voiceovers.
- Incorporate engaging visuals, transitions, sound effects, and screen recordings (if applicable) to enhance storytelling.
- Source royalty-free footage, images, and music when necessary.
- Ensure videos adhere to YouTube's best practices (e.g., pacing, viewer retention techniques).
- Deliver final videos within 72 hours of assignment.
- Create how-to videos or tutorials, including the use of screen recordings, when needed.
- Make revisions based on feedback from the channel manager.

Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing (portfolio or sample work required).
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong storytelling and pacing skills.
- Ability to work with stock footage, voiceovers, text overlays, and screen recordings.
- Familiarity with YouTube trends and best practices is a plus.
- Experience sourcing royalty-free content (e.g., Storyblocks, Pexels, Artlist).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
