Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced editor to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure our written content is polished, engaging, and aligned with our brand standards. You’ll work closely with writers and the broader team to maintain the highest quality for our editorial content.

Responsibilities:
Edit and proofread articles to improve readability, grammar, and SEO optimization.
Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and editorial guidelines.
Provide constructive feedback to writers to help improve their work.
Check for proper formatting, image placement, and use of SEO best practices, including meta titles, descriptions, and keywords.
Add internal links as needed.
Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an editor, ideally with travel or lifestyle content.
Strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.
Experience with WordPress.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across content.
Positive attitude and openness to feedback.
Previous experience in online publication editing is a significant plus.
A background in journalism or experience with prominent news organizations is highly appreciated.

Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time with potential for increased hours.
Flexible schedule; must be available to meet deadlines.
Compensation based on the volume of completed tasks or hourly rate, as discussed during hiring.
