We are looking for a full-time Accounts payables with experience in verifying invoices, processing payments and bank reconciliation. This person will join a team of 6 in the Accounts/Finance team.
This position is open to candidates based in the Philippines only, and it is expected the successful candidate works AEST hours, in a full-time capacity.
The duties and responsibilities will include;
Daily/weekly:
Accounts payable inbox management
Verification of invoices including all operating expenses and warehousing and freight costs by following business processes
Process weekly batch payments, urgent payments and foreign currency transactions
Weekly bank reconciliation
Weekly business outgoing update
Raise concerns when actual invoiced amounts are different than quoted or agreed pricing.
Credit card transactions management
Staff Reimbursement.
Monthly:
Record actual shipping expenses
Monthly end bank reconciliation
Monthly subscription management
High level of administration to ensure all documentation is accounted for
Adhoc tasks/projects:
Expenses investigation
Compile expense reports when requested
Creating, maintaining & updating our library of processes
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills & the ability to liaise with external supplies & parties
Experience working remotely with an English speaking company IE UK, USA, Australia, Canada.
Experience in a fast-paced working environment
High level understanding of MS Office, and Google Suite
Preferred but not essential:
Experience with XERO
Ideally similar experience in FMCG, Retail or Logistics
Minimum education level:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree of accounting
