Social Media Manager for a Creative Pet Photography Business

I am seeking a creative and proactive Virtual Social Media Manager to join our pet photography team. This role will focus on engaging with followers, moderating Facebook groups and some content creation.

The role is for 10 hours per week with room to expand. No set schedule, so would suit someone who needs flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with our animal loving followers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement
- Answer questions in our Facebook groups
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on Facebook and Instagram in a timely and professional manner.
- Actively participate in conversations and encourage user-generated content.

Content Creation & Editing:
- Edit and create engaging Instagram Reels, Stories, and other short-form video content that aligns with the brand’s voice and goals.
- Develop visually appealing graphics and posts for Instagram and Facebook, ensuring content is on-brand and high-quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and features on social media platforms to create timely and relevant content.


Facebook Group Monitoring
- Oversee and manage private Facebook groups
- Approve new group members, monitor discussions, and remove any inappropriate content.
- Initiate and encourage discussions, polls, and community-driven content to boost group activity.

Reporting & Analytics
- Track social media performance and user engagement metrics, providing regular reports on growth, reach, and interaction.
- Analyze trends and insights to continuously improve content strategies and community engagement.
