About Us
At Abtra Inc. (formerly Solid Lift Parts), we’ve spent over a decade making it easy to buy parts for forklifts, heavy equipment, and machinery. From a niche forklift parts seller, we’ve grown into an eight-figure e-commerce business with 17 websites serving customers across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
We’re now looking for a Content Writer who understands machines and parts—and knows how to explain them clearly.
Position Overview
As a Content Marketer, your primary focus will be creating high-value, informative content that showcases expertise in machinery, its parts, and functionality. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background or experience in auto mechanics/repair, machinery, or parts handling who is also eager to grow in content marketing.
Let’s face it, today’s writing often involves AI, but foundational knowledge is key. If you don’t have the ability to critically assess AI-generated text, discern what makes sense, and edit it to resonate with real human readers, then this role isn’t for you. We’re looking for a writer with solid foundations, who is proficient in English, a quick learner, and someone who’s excited to continuously improve. If this sounds like you, we’d love to see you apply.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write and optimize content for various web pages, including product descriptions, Q&As, category pages, blogs, and informative articles.
- Research & Development: Conduct in-depth research about machinery and parts to understand and improve content quality, ensuring that each piece is accurate, valuable, and competitive.
- SEO & Competitive Analysis: Learn and apply SEO principles, analyze competitor content, and make our pages rank higher by providing truly superior information.
- Content Maintenance / Enhancement: Continuously improve existing content by adding images, videos, and other enhancements to make it more informative and engaging.
- Quality & Value Focus: Avoid "word salad" content and focus on delivering real value to users who need reliable information to make buying decisions.
- Tool Use: Work with tools like ChatGPT to ensure high standards in clarity and language.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Expertise: Strong background or hands-on experience with parts, auto mechanics, or machines. We need someone who understands machine components and how they work.
- Writing Skills: A solid foundation in writing with excellent English language skills.
- Learning Mindset: Eager to learn, improve, and grow within a dynamic environment.
- Self-Learner: Able to work independently, particularly with online tools and resources.
- Continuous Improvement: Embrace constructive feedback, strive for excellence, and adapt to new challenges.
SEO Knowledge is not required but a plus. We’re willing to train the right person who brings the right foundational skills.
Why Join Us?
- See the Impact: The content you create will directly influence sales and page rankings. You’ll see the fruits of your labor in real, measurable ways.
- Growth Opportunity: This is a long-term role where you’ll be part of a supportive, goal-oriented team with room for professional development.
- Team Culture: We value teamwork, continual learning, and pushing the boundaries.
If you’re excited to be a part of becoming the main supplier for every machinery part and contribute meaningful content that resonates with real-world users, we invite you to apply!
