JOB OVERVIEW

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will edit audio and video files for a podcast seamlessly and efficiently. The candidate will be someone who enjoys editing podcast videos and audio files and is also skilled at editing video clips for social media marketing purposes. We are looking for someone passionate about getting great audio, who has impeccable intuition for making edits sound natural, and who goes the extra mile to clean audio until it is as perfect as possible. Must be excellent at both speaking and writing in English.

Bonus: Experience in website design. Not required, but please include experience in this area.

Responsibilities & Duties
Edit, mix, and master audio and video files.

Edit and clean raw audio files (remove noise, glitches, inconsistencies, mistakes, etc.)

Add subtitles and images to video clips

Contribute to the overall success of all audio and video productions

Assist in creating and maintaining the sound, tone, and style of the podcast

After the final podcast audio is approved, the candidate may be responsible for uploading the podcast.

Work closely with the team to meet deadlines

Create timely and effective workflow processes


Qualifications & Skills
2 - 5 years of experience working in audio and video or relevant media experience

Working Knowledge of Descript, Canva, and Capcut.

Professional level audio editing skills with podcast and video clips for business marketing

Familiarity with remote recording protocols

Patience in fine-tuning audio and delivering multiple rounds of revisions

Ability to communicate creative ideas clearly

Passionate about securing the best quality audio and video possible

Website development is a bonus but not required
