Senior Full Stack Engineer (On-Site) – $3K-$6K Salary – Direct Client

We’re looking for an R&D Lead with technical depth, relentless drive, and bold innovation to lead our research and development efforts as we push boundaries in AI, video, and e-commerce.

Position Overview

The company's R&D Lead will be both a hands-on engineer and a visionary strategist, driving the design, development, and optimization of the technologies behind our interactive video platform. You’ll lead high-stakes, high-complexity projects, challenge technical approaches, and push the entire team to raise the bar. This role requires a masterful blend of technical expertise, ambitious creativity, and executional prowess. Responsibilities:

Lead High-Impact R&D Initiatives: Own the development and execution of mission-critical R&D projects, from AI-driven personalization to real-time interactive video features and seamless e-commerce integrations.
Challenge Technical Solutions: Dive deep into technical approaches, exploring cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. Push developers to question assumptions, optimize solutions, and challenge timelines to ensure the company is delivering state-of-the-art products, fast.
Architect and Optimize: Drive the design and architecture of Tolstoy’s platform, ensuring that each component is scalable, secure, and high-performing. Shape our tech stack to support seamless, real-time interactions for millions of users.
Product and Research Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align R&D with Tolstoy’s roadmap and vision. Translate high-level goals into technical projects that deliver real, measurable value.
Mentor and Inspire Technical Talent: Set the bar for technical excellence within the R&D team. Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of deep technical mastery, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Innovation: Use data, market insights, and user feedback to refine R&D projects, prioritize impactful initiatives, and measure success. Stay on top of industry trends and continuously bring forward new ideas to keep Tolstoy at the cutting edge.
Tech Stack Requirements:

React, Node.js, and [removed] Expertise in building responsive, scalable front- and back-end systems.
AWS Cloud: Proficiency in designing and deploying solutions in the AWS ecosystem, ensuring security, scalability, and resilience.
Experience in AI, Real-Time Video, or E-Commerce: Strong understanding of these areas is a plus, as they are central to Tolstoy’s platform.
