Web Developer (Wordpress/Woocommerce)

We’re an Australian eCommerce startup seeking a skilled Web Developer to complete an initial set of website optimisation tasks on a gig basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to join us as we finalise our WordPress/WooCommerce site, with the potential for a longer-term relationship. Project Overview:
In this initial gig, you’ll help us enhance our site’s performance, SEO, and overall user experience. This project will allow us to assess your skills and ensure we can collaborate effectively. While the work is flexible, strong communication and responsiveness are essential to keep the project on track and aligned with our goals.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- SEO and performance optimisation expertise (caching, CDNs)
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and SEO tools like SEMrush
- Ability to make strategic recommendations for site improvement
