Job Description
As a Customer Service and Product Management Specialist, you play a crucial role in delivering a great
customer experience and ensuring the accuracy of our product information. You will respond to customer inquiries in
Dutch using translation tools and our custom ChatGPT assistant, help keep our product information accurate and
up-to-date, and also add new products to our website using PDF and Excel files provided by suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Use ChatGPT and translation tools to answer customer inquiries professionally and empathetically in
Dutch.
• Actively think about improvements in customer communication and deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers to accurately relay delivery and product
information to customers.
Product Management:
• Add new products to the website based on PDF and Excel files provided by suppliers.
• Update and maintain product information on the website using ChatGPT to generate and optimize
descriptions.
• Check product descriptions, specifications, and prices before publication to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Ensure consistency in product listings to enhance customer experience and improve SEO.
Improvements and Initiative:
• We encourage you to bring forward your own ideas for process and customer experience improvements.
• Regularly discuss improvement points with the team to optimize the quality and efficiency of the customer
experience.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is fluent in English and comfortable using translation tools to communicate in Dutch.
• Has experience with e-commerce, specifically with Shopify.
• Is familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT for customer and product support.
• Is proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve problems independently.
• Has experience in customer service and product management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Takes responsibility and feels connected to Doika’s core values.
• Values feedback and is open to learning and improving: you actively identify improvement areas and
communicate them.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality in work commitments, especially in adhering to Belgian time (CET)
work hours.
