Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Web Designer + Developer with expertise in Webflow (main), WordPress (secondary), and Figma to join our remote team. This role is responsible for designing and developing visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with brand goals and provide optimal user experiences. The ideal candidate has a blend of design sensibility and technical know-how to bring web projects to life, from initial concept to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Design & Development:
• Design responsive, visually appealing websites for professional services, tier 1 brands, and other web-based products using Figma.
• Develop and launch high-quality websites using Webflow, ensuring functionality, user experience, and aesthetic standards are met.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites perform optimally across all devices and screen sizes.
2. Design Collaboration & Prototyping:
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, translating briefs into effective website structures and visual elements.
• Create detailed prototypes in Figma to align with client objectives and enhance the user experience, making adjustments based on feedback.
• Work closely with stakeholders to iterate on design elements and ensure seamless integration of branding and functionality.
3. Web Development & Customization:
• Customize and extend Webflow (and sometimes Wordpress) capabilities to meet specific client needs, including adding plugins, custom code, and integrations.
• Optimize website performance and usability, adhering to best practices in web development and SEO.
4. Quality Assurance & Testing:
• Conduct thorough testing and quality checks before launch, ensuring websites are bug-free and meet high standards for speed, accessibility, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues post-launch and provide ongoing maintenance and updates as needed.

Deliverables:

In this role, you will be responsible for producing a variety of deliverables that align with our clients’ branding and business goals, including:
• Website Mockups & Prototypes: Design detailed Figma prototypes for client approval, showcasing layout, structure, and user flow.
• Fully Functional Websites: Build complete websites on Webflow (and sometimes WordPress) that align with client specifications, branding, and functionality requirements.
• Responsive & Mobile-Optimized Designs: Ensure all websites are fully responsive, providing a seamless user experience across all devices.
• Custom Integrations & Plugins: Add or create plugins, custom functionalities, and third-party integrations as required to enhance website features and capabilities.

• 9-5 EST job schedule availability

Qualifications:
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in web design and development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Webflow, WordPress, and Figma is essential. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic SEO principles is required.
• Creative Abilities: Strong portfolio demonstrating work with professional services, tier 1 brands, and web products. Experience creating visually compelling, user-friendly designs that align with brand aesthetics.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve site functionality while maintaining visual standards.
• Language Skills: Proficient, conversational English language skills for clear communication with internal teams and clients.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Able to take direction and integrate feedback effectively.
