Professional Photo Editor for Photo Booth Galleries

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. The primary responsibility will be to retouch and enhance photos from our photo booth galleries to ensure they meet our professional standards before posting them to an online gallery. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of color correction, and is proficient in industry-standard editing software.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and retouch photos to align with our style and quality expectations, focusing on color balance, exposure correction, and removing any minor imperfections.
• Perform color correction on specific images as needed to create a cohesive and vibrant gallery.
• Maintain the consistency and aesthetic quality across multiple photos, ensuring that all images in the gallery look polished and professional.
• Prepare and export edited images in high resolution suitable for online gallery posting and client viewing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in photo editing, particularly in event or portrait photography.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar professional photo editing software.
• Excellent understanding of color correction, exposure adjustments, and retouching techniques.
• Ability to replicate a specific photo style based on provided examples.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing high-quality results within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback efficiently.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):

• Experience with batch processing and efficient workflow practices for high-volume photo editing.
• Familiarity with online gallery platforms and photo export settings for web optimization.
