Instagram / Social Media Manager / Blogger for Architecture Drawings

Dear Candidates!

I run an Instagram account and a website specialising in architecture and architectural drawings. The account has been running for over 2 years now and our followers rely on us to provide great content on architectural drawings everyday. Our main platform is currently Instagram, but we also have a website with a small amount of articles - particularly interviews with artists we love. We also have a very small Facebook and Twitter account which we wished to expand.

After 2 years of running, we are looking forward to expand in 2017. We want to increase engagement on our social media accounts as well as a website. So if you're looking for some challenge and have a great eye for beautiful artwork please enquire within.

What sort of task am I expected to complete?

1. You will be curating a number of Instagram account - these accounts are architecture related. If you have a background in arts or are interested in arts then that's great! if you have interest in architecture - that will be even better! In order to do this you will need to know how Instagram works! Your task is:

a. look for great architectural sketches images from the hashtag we've already provided.
b. write a small simple description about the sketch - who is the owner, what you like about the image etc.
c. post between 3-4 images a day which is spread evenly throughout the day (there are 4 accounts so that equals to 12-16 posts a day)
*You are PROHIBITED to use automation programmes such as Hootsuite, Latergramme, Schedugram etc.*

2. Ability to write an engaging interview / article - we have a small website containing simple interviews with artists we feature. We would love you to do more interviews with more artists. The interviews should be simple and easy to understand.

3. Ability to use Wordpress - our website uses wordpress so you'll need to know how to create a new post, how to manage it etc.

4. We might need some help in doing some research too

5. As this is a creative led account - we would very much like you to give your own ideas on how to improve our accounts etc. Your ideas are worth a lot - no matter how big or small. When you join us, you'll be part of our Team and we will listen to all your feedbacks and ideas! So please do not be scared to share it with us!

Employment Details..

As a start we're looking for the lovely and enthusiastic candidate to work on a short-term contract - maybe a week or a month. We wanted to make sure that both of us would be a great fit! For the right candidate, there is a lot of room to grow!

Training..

We will provide some training so don't worry if you're not sure what to do!

Before you contact us make sure:

1. You have Instagram on your PERSONAL mobile phone (not anyone else)!
2. You have a background in arts / architecture or you can prove your interest in these fields
3. You can prove to us your artistic eye ability
4. You can show us you have your PERSONAL Instagram account
5. Show us samples of your writing ability!
