SEO Content Writer

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated SEO Content Writer to join the growth team. In this role, you’ll be writing, optimizing, and repurposing content to support our growth marketing objectives and drive high-quality organic traffic. You’ll use Surfer, Hemingway App, and other AI tools to write content that resonates with our target audience, fits our SEO strategy, and adds to our content library.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Writing & Editing: Write, edit, and publish original content for various platforms, webpages, blogs, content outlines, and marketing materials.
- SEO: Apply SEO principles like keyword targeting, on-page optimization, metas, internal linking, and EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) to drive organic performance.
- Content Strategy & Research: Research industry trends and content topics to ensure all content is up to date, accurate, and relevant to maximize reach.
- Conversion Support: Work on conversion-focused content like website copy and sales decks to align with key marketing objectives.
- Content Refresh & Repurposing: Update existing content to improve rankings and conversions, apply data-driven changes to keep our library fresh and effective.
- Process Improvement: Suggest ways to improve our content and SEO process for better efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- SEO Content Experience: Proven ability to write and optimize content that drives traffic and ranks well in organic search.
- SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword and topic research, on-page SEO, etc.
- Hands-on implementation skills: Can use SEO tools and techniques, metas, internal linking, keyword strategies to make content more relevant and performant.
- Elasticity: Happy to work in a high-pressure, high-volume environment where speed and flexibility are essential.
- Growth mindset: Willingness to learn and self-improve; always looking to get better each day.
- Business awareness: Willing to learn about our AI tool, our business goals, and translate that knowledge into producing content that drives growth.
