We’re growing and looking to hire multiple Senior Software Engineers with a knack for problem-solving, a collaborative mindset, and deep technical expertise to help us build and maintain scalable solutions.

About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Grantable, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing our product features. You will be responsible for taking high-level feature ideas—like adding email notifications for comments—and breaking them down into actionable tasks. You’ll also lead by example in code reviews, provide thoughtful feedback to tea ---------- mbers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and deploy complex features end-to-end
Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling, migrations, and queries
Implement features using JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML/CSS
Leverage Svelte and SvelteKit to build front-end components and maintainable user interfaces
Collaborate on code reviews and mentor other engineers
Think strategically about feature solutions, performing cost-benefit analysis on potential approaches to select the best path forward
Work with Supabase for database management and authentication
Employ TailwindCSS for styling when appropriate
Requirements
Must-Have Experience:

Strong experience with PostgreSQL and database modeling
Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
Skilled in HTML and CSS
Nice to Have:

Svelte and SvelteKit framework experience (preferred)
Familiarity with Supabase for database and auth management
Knowledge of TailwindCSS for efficient styling
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to break down high-level features into actionable tasks and execute them effectively
Proven track record of implementing database migrations and writing efficient, maintainable code
Experience conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other engineers
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to weigh the pros and cons of different technical approaches
