Job Title: HR Recruitment Specialist / General Virtual Assistant
Location: Remote

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Recruitment Specialist / General Virtual Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting and onboarding top talent, specifically caregivers, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and aligned with our mission to provide compassionate and holistic home care services.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Recruitment Specialist:
Sourcing & Recruitment:
Develop and manage job postings on various platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) for caregiver positions.
Proactively source qualified caregiver candidates via job boards, social media, and other channels.
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews.
Schedule interviews with hiring managers and coordinate follow-ups.
Onboarding:
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that all paperwork (W-4, I-9, background checks) and certifications (CPR, TB tests) are completed.
Organize orientation sessions and ensure that caregivers are informed about agency policies and procedures.
Caregiver Retention:
Track caregiver performance and satisfaction, including gathering feedback via surveys or one-on-one check-ins.
Support retention efforts by developing initiatives to improve caregiver engagement and job satisfaction.
General Virtual Assistant:
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the HR Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing documents.
Prepare reports, meeting notes, and presentation materials as needed.
Respond to internal and external inquiries via email, phone, or messaging platforms.
Payroll Support:
Assist in tracking employee timesheets, verifying hours worked, and ensuring timely submission to the payroll system.
Communicate with caregivers regarding payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in coordination with the payroll team.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using HR software and cloud-based systems (Google Drive, Dropbox).
Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and data privacy requirements (including HIPAA).
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative support, preferably within the healthcare or home care sector.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using recruitment platforms and HR management software (experience with Paychex, ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems is a plus).
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of employment laws and labor regulations (Pennsylvania state knowledge is a bonus).
Soft Skills:
Empathy and interpersonal skills, especially in communicating with caregivers and other tea ---------- mbers.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the home care or healthcare industry.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
Experience working remotely and self-managing tasks.
Work Hours:
Full-time or part-time based on agency needs, with flexibility for remote work. Availability during core business hours (Eastern Time) is required.
