Web Designer (WordPress & Graphic Design Specialist)

About Us:
Bower Web Solutions is a multi-decade old web development company trying to reinvent itself and expand its service offerings. We currently have customers for whom we create websites, improve their SEO and do digital marketing for. We are looking to add to our team as our list of projects grows. We have talent across the US (where we are headquartered), and in the Philippines. We are looking for a multi-talented Web Designer who is both a creative graphic designer and a technical WordPress expert. Our ideal candidate can build stunning, high-performance websites that not only look visually appealing but also offer superior functionality. You will work across multiple industries, creating custom WordPress sites that are fast, SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive, and require minimal upkeep. A focus on using AI tools for automation and ensuring all design elements are properly licensed is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop unique, bespoke websites on WordPress with original graphics and layouts.
2. Leverage AI tools to automate processes, improve design efficiency, and ensure rapid project delivery.
3. Ensure all websites are optimized for quick page load times and performance across all platforms.
4. Implement on-page SEO best practices to maximize visibility and ranking on search engines.
5. Focus on mobile-responsive design, ensuring that websites look and function flawlessly across devices.
6. Design and create original graphics and visual elements that enhance the website’s aesthetics, staying true to client branding.
7. Ensure all images, fonts, and other design elements are properly licensed and legally compliant.
8. Perform regular testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure website stability and long-term functionality.
9. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to fit client needs across various industries.
10. Stay current with the latest web design trends, AI tools, and SEO practices to continuously deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio of custom WordPress websites and original graphic designs.
2. Expertise in creating original graphics, using graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar software.
3. Experience with AI tools for automation in the design and development process, such as Elementor AI, MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, or others .
4. Strong knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and best practices.
5. Expertise in mobile-responsive design and performance optimization.
6. A solid understanding of licensing and legal compliance for images, fonts, and other design elements.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
8. Mastery over written and oral English language skills
