Job Title: Technical Talent Sourcer – Founding Engineers
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Talent Sourcer with a passion for startups and a proven track record in sourcing founding engineers. In this role, you will partner closely with our technical recruiter to identify, engage, and attract top-tier technical talent who will serve as the backbone of early-stage companies. Your expertise in identifying candidates with the entrepreneurial spirit, deep technical expertise, and adaptability required for startup environments will be key to our success.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively source and engage with founding engineers and technical leaders for high-growth startups.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of top engineering talent through creative sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, and direct outreach).
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and align on the candidate profile needed to thrive in a startup environment.
• Assess candidates’ technical skills, startup experience, and cultural fit for early-stage companies.
• Provide insights and market intelligence to guide strategic sourcing and hiring decisions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience sourcing for founding engineers in startup environments.
• Strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of early-stage startups.
• Expertise in using various sourcing tools and platforms to identify top technical talent.
• Experience with boolean strings, and understands technical terms (frontend, vs backend) including modern programming tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment typical of Series A-C startups.
