What we're looking for:
We need a skilled Shopify Web Designer - Web Developer to design and develop eCommerce websites that not only look fantastic but also convert visitors into customers. This role involves a mix of creativity (design) and technical ability (development). You'll work closely with our marketing team to bring Shopify stores to life for our clients.
This is a remote (work from home) position.

• You'll work on a variety of client projects, learning and growing with each one.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop responsive, high-performing Shopify websites with a focus on eCommerce conversion
• Customise and optimise Shopify themes, integrating custom code as needed (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid)
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure the websites align with brand guidelines and deliver a seamless user experience
• Ensure site performance, accessibility, and SEO optimisation
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring functionality across multiple devices and browsers
• Implement and customise Shopify apps and third-party integrations
• Maintain and update Shopify websites regularly based on client feedback

The Ideal Candidate:
• Shopify Experience: Proven experience designing and developing Shopify websites is a must. You should have a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including theme customization, Liquid, and third-party app integrations.
• Web Design: You have a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to design user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing eCommerce websites.
• Front-End Development: Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are essential for customizing Shopify themes and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• SEO and Performance Optimization: Experience with website optimization for speed, SEO, and performance on Shopify.
• Problem Solving: You enjoy figuring out complex problems and finding creative solutions, particularly when it comes to UX/UI challenges or custom functionality.
• Communication: You will work closely with clients and internal teams, so clear and proactive communication is key.
• Attention to Detail: You double-check your work to ensure high standards are maintained and nothing is overlooked.
• Remote Work: Experience working remotely and managing your time effectively is important.
