Digital Graphic Designer

York & Chapel is an international full-service digital marketing agency with offices in Connecticut, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Vancouver and Turkey. We are designers, writers and strategists who use today’s marketing technologies to build strong, vibrant communities around brands. As cultural technologists and marketers, we have many tools that are constantly changing and evolving. Our purpose is to offer them to each and every client in very customized and inspired ways.
We are looking for a freelance contractor who will be working with the Account Services Team and stakeholders and internal tea ---------- mbers from across the agency. The freelance contractor will apply their exceptional communications skills to interact directly with cross functional teams on a daily basis across the company to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Y&C is a fast-paced environment. The candidate will need exceptional self management and time management skills, along with a flexible, fun-loving positive attitude, to succeed in this role. You just never know when it comes to working in an agency.
Responsibilities: Here's what you'll be doing.
- Work with the creative team and project managers to create and manage designs from concept through to final deliverables
Image research and gathering
- Design within brand guide standards
- Organize and track project workflow
- Keep up to date with industry design trends
Required: Here's what you need to have.
- A passion for great design, digital marketing and social media
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Social Media experience: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn
- Deadline driven and cool under pressure
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Web design experience is an asset
The Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited design program
- Skilled in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency in Figma, PowerPoint and Excel is an asset
- Must have a proven ability to meet deadlines while producing high quality work
- Must be team oriented and self-motivated
- Strong design sense, organizational skills, and attention to detail are a must
Additional Skills
- Programming skills are a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML / CSS
- Animation or Motion Graphic skills are a plus
Terms of employment: Freelance Contract

Working Hours: 11pm to 7am
