Part-Time Remote Property Management Assistant

Hi!

I manage a small residential property portfolio in Shanghai, China.

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Remote Property Management Assistant to help support our tenants and coordinate maintenance issues.

No previous property management experience is required. Full training will be provided.

### Main Responsibilities

#### Tenant Communication

* Respond to tenant messages via WhatsApp, WeChat, or other messaging platforms.( Mainly Wechat
* Provide timely updates and assistance regarding tenant requests.
* Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with tenants.

#### Maintenance Coordination

* Handle repair requests such as:

* Water leaks
* Electrical issues
* Appliance problems
* General maintenance concerns
* Contact and coordinate with contractors, plumbers, electricians, and handymen.
* Follow up until issues are resolved.

#### Emergency Response

* Be available to respond to urgent property issues when necessary.
* Escalate major issues to the property owner when required.

#### Administrative Support

* Keep records of maintenance requests and resolutions.
* Send rent payment reminders when necessary.
* Assist with basic property management tasks.

### Requirements

* Fluent English (required)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Highly organized and responsive
* Ability to work independently
* Experience in customer service, virtual assistance, hospitality, or property management is a plus
* Chinese language skills are a bonus but not required

### Working Hours

This is a flexible part-time remote position.

The main purpose of this role is to provide tenant support and handle urgent maintenance coordination during hours when the property owner may not be available due to time zone differences.

### Compensation

* Hourly rate or fixed monthly salary (negotiable)
* Performance bonuses may be available
