1. Job Summary
Soom Foods is a sister founded, Philadelphia, PA (USA) based company that imports and sells premium tahini and tahini products. Since 2013, Soom has been on a mission to make tahini a more popular ingredient in the American Market.
For over a dozen years Soom has been the tahini of choice of top chefs and award winning
restaurants across the country. Soom is the #1 selling brand of tahini at Whole Foods Market
and on Amazon and is sold in over 3500 stores and growing.
We are looking for a team member to support our operations team with managing data entry for inbound orders, inventory management, and reporting. This individual will report to our Director of Logistics (Jake).
Initially, 10-20 hours per week with potential for growth.
Work hours for data entry can be flexible. Some overlap hours with USA East Coast time required for meetings, especially during the initial training period, and ongoing for weekly meetings.
2. Core Responsibilities
Entering emailed purchase orders into ERP system (CIN7)
Entering purchase orders into order fulfillment system (Asana)
Managing order related electronic documents in EDI system (SPS Commerce)
Dispatching / invoicing inventory from ERP system (CIN7) as orders are completed
Assisting in pulling reports from the ERP into Google Sheets for data analytics tasks
Assisting the operations department with other data entry tasks as necessary
3. Skills & Requirements
Inventory Management Systems (IMS) - Soom currently uses CIN7
Asana
Google Sheets
Email (Soom uses GMail)
Fast & reliable computer with internet access
Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement.
