Contract Full-Stack Developer (3-Month Contract)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) to join our team on a 3-month contract. The developer will build upon our existing code base and drive the development of our platform. This role is pivotal in enhancing and maintaining our clinical supervision platform by working on both backend and frontend components. You will collaborate closely with our team to implement new features, optimize functionalities, and ensure the platform remains robust, scalable, and user-friendly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Implement user interface components using Angular, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience. Work with the existing codebase to add new functionalities, refactor code, and resolve technical issues.
• Feature Implementation & Optimization: Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement new features. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability, security, and stability of the platform. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers. Ensure automated testing and continuous integration processes are followed to deliver high-quality software.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during development or in production. Partner with DevOps to manage deployments, monitor application health, and respond to performance issues.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience in building and scaling complex applications.
• Strong expertise in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in frontend development using Angular, including Angular components, services, and state management.
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, including experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for both backend and frontend (e.g., JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working on HealthTech platforms or other healthcare-related software solutions.
• Prior experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data security best practices.

This is a contract position for 3 months, with the potential for future opportunities based on performance and project needs.
