Social Media Manager to Drive Ecommerce Traffic

About the Role:
In search of a Social Media Manager to drive ecommerce traffic to Shopify and Amazon stores. This role involves curating and repurposing proven viral content to enhance engagement and growth on our theme-based social media pages. We are searching for someone who is really great at identifying trends and transforming content to resonate with our audience of working parents. This role will have a probationary period starting at 10 hours per week. After one month, KPI will be evaluated and hours scaled to full time with demonstrated social media account growth and increased sales traffic.

Responsibilities:
Identify proven viral content (“PVC”) across platforms that resonates with our audience.
Repurpose and optimize content for different social media platforms using Canva, ensuring it adheres to our brand guidelines and voice.
Schedule and manage posts to maintain an active and engaging online presence using Instagram’s native scheduler.
Track and analyze performance metrics on a weekly scorecard to gauge content effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
Engage with our community by responding to comments and fostering a positive interaction environment.

Requirements:
Proven experience in social media management, particularly in content creation, curation, and repurposing.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their analytics tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce captivating and grammatically correct captions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Creative mindset with a strong sense of trends and audience preferences.
