About Us:
Mildrie’s Road Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through literacy programs, vocational training, re-entry support for formerly incarcerated individuals, and disaster relief initiatives. Our mission is to break cycles of poverty and illiteracy while creating opportunities for growth and success. We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer from the Philippines to join our team and help secure funding for our impactful programs.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Grant Writer to work remotely. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals that support our mission and programs. You will play a key role in identifying potential funding sources, crafting compelling narratives, and ensuring that our proposals align with grant requirements. This position is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and experience in the grant writing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Write and submit clear, compelling, and well-structured grant proposals.
Collaborate with our team to gather necessary information, such as budgets, program descriptions, and outcomes for grant proposals.
Track grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
Maintain a grant calendar and database of past, current, and upcoming funding opportunities.
Assist in preparing reports and updates for grant funders as required.
Review grant guidelines and ensure all submissions comply with the requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing, preferably for nonprofit organizations.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with the team remotely.
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and an understanding of grant application processes.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with grant reporting and budgeting is a plus.
Knowledge of U.S.-based grant opportunities is highly desirable.
