Position Summary:
The Post Install Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the critical post-installation processes, including PTO (Permission to Operate) submission, handling corrections, scheduling and overseeing final inspections, customer handoff, and ongoing monitoring of solar systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. This position is essential in ensuring smooth project completion and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- PTO Submission:
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for Permission to Operate (PTO) with utility companies.
• Track the status of PTO applications to ensure timely approvals and project completion.
- Corrections Management:
• Identify and address any corrections or issues that arise during the post-installation process.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to resolve any post-installation problems promptly.
- Final Inspections:
• Schedule and manage final inspections with local authorities to ensure all installations meet regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all necessary inspections are completed in a timely manner.
- Customer Handoff:
• Facilitate the customer handoff process by providing homeowners with all necessary information about their solar system.
• Ensure that customers understand how to monitor and maintain their solar system for optimal performance.
- Ongoing Monitoring:
• Monitor installed solar systems for performance and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
• Work closely with the customer support team to resolve any system performance concerns or inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar operations, post-installation processes, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with PTO processes, final inspections, and solar monitoring systems is preferred.
- Technical Requirements:
• Must have personal computer equipment and reliable internet access.
• Experience with solar monitoring platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
- Language Skills:
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Work Hours:
• Flexible schedule, with preference for availability until 12 noon Central Time (USA).

• Attention to detail, ensuring all post-install tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with customers and teams.
