JOB OVERVIEW

The Gift Group Canada is currently recruiting new tea ---------- mbers for our in-house Customer Service team. We seek individuals who embody empathy, composure, articulate communication, punctuality, politeness, attention to detail, and strong multitasking abilities, capable of working conscientiously with minimal supervision.

As representatives of the company, the customer service role involves aiding customers with current orders through phone, email, and live chat, helping with customer inquiries, and providing details regarding our products and services.

Our Customer Service team operates Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm EST. Since this is a full-time position, we are only considering applicants who can commit to working a set schedule 40 hours a week and have flexible and weekend availability. You will also be required to put in extra hours and day during peak periods (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day Week, and the Month of December). Any extra hours and days that were worked will be compensated.

Kindly be aware that during the training phase, your wage will differ from the rate offered after the completion of training.
The salary will depend on experience.

Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with existing orders via phone, email, and live chat
• Exceed sales targets by placing new orders, answering inquiries, and providing accurate product and service information
• Multitask efficiently and provide exceptional service to customers with minimal supervision
• Review, assess, and respond to customer complaints in a timely, efficient manner; offer appropriate resolutions that are in-line with our policies
• During non peak season, you will be helping in other departments such as the web team for basic clerical tasks. (training will be provided for this)

Basic Requirements
• You will need to provide your own laptop/PC.
• Have a stable internet connection.
• Have a good microphone and headset for communication
• You are required to use hubstaff desktop version
• You are required to use webcam for this position


Requirements:
University / College Graduate
• Have at least 3 years experience in the Customer Service Field
• Experience in the eCommerce, floral, warehouse, and/or shipping industries considered an asset
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language
• Able to handle high call volumes during peak times
• Comfortable deescalating customer concerns and providing efficient assistance independently
• Computer literacy and familiarity required
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment

Job Type: Full-time
• 8-hour shift 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. EST
• Monday to Sunday (Schedule will be determined by supervisor)
