JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our resourcing activities by identifying and reaching out to potential suppliers. The successful candidate will play a key role in our supplier resourcing process, assisting with both initial screenings and preliminary evaluations. This involves understanding our brands and leveraging the master product data in our system to identify valuable supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct searches to identify potential suppliers/vendors aligned with our needs.
2. Perform initial screenings based on an understanding of our brands, and continue with in-depth evaluations using our product data.
3. Collaborate closely with the team, providing timely updates and seeking support when needed to ensure an efficient sourcing process.
4. Process and manage large amounts of data, making sound judgments on potential suppliers based on insights and numbers.
5. Communicate clearly and effectively in English (Mandarin skills are a plus).

Requirements:
1. Prior experience in sourcing or buying, with knowledge of supplier evaluation processes.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to process and utilize complex information.
3. Excellent time management, ensuring timely and efficient progress on supplier identification and evaluation.
4. Ability to collaborate and seek help from the team in a timely manner when needed.
5. Availability during typical China/HK working hours.

While direct sourcing experience is required, the ability to work with data, make informed decisions, and communicate results effectively is critical. Timeliness and attention to detail are key to helping us find the right suppliers quickly and efficiently.
