JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled web developer to create a professional directory website. The project involves building a fully functional and visually appealing directory site based on existing data from spreadsheets. In addition to standard web development, you'll need to integrate automation features using APIs and spreadsheet formulas for creating and managing listings. The ideal candidate will have experience with database management, CSS, and a solid understanding of automation tools or APIs to streamline the listing creation process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a user-friendly directory website to display listings dynamically.
• Build the website using spreadsheet data as a foundation for the database.
• Implement API integrations and automation to streamline the creation of new listings.
• Utilize CSS to create an appealing, responsive design for both desktop and mobile devices.
• Ensure the site is SEO-friendly and optimized for performance.
• Develop a backend system to easily update and manage listings.

Skills & Requirements:
• Proven experience building directory or database-driven websites.
• Strong knowledge of web development languages: HTML, CSS etc.
• Experience working with databases, particularly spreadsheets or Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in using APIs to automate workflows (Zapier, Integromat, or custom APIs).
• Basic understanding of formulas in spreadsheets to help automate data processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create a clean, user-friendly UI/UX.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain the website post-launch.
