We are a fast-growing DTC eCommerce brand looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. This role focuses on creating compelling, high-converting video ads optimized for social media and eCommerce platforms. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce high-quality, engaging videos that effectively communicate our brand story and drive sales.

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form video content optimized for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Follow brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in look, feel, and tone across all content.
Utilize data from ad performance to refine and improve video editing strategies.
Work collaboratively to brainstorm, storyboard, and execute video ideas.
Incorporate feedback quickly to refine and enhance video output.
Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing for DTC brands, with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging content.
Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.

Trial Objective
Create a 30-45 second ad that resonates with our target audience, conveying our brand’s unique selling points and driving engagement. This task will demonstrate your ability to edit in a style that suits our DTC brand, with an emphasis on storytelling, pacing, and capturing attention within the first few seconds.

Look for elements that are engaging, visually captivating, and consistent with our brand style.

Focus on the following: hook, pacing, transitions, CTA integration, and adherence to platform best practices.

Attention-Grabbing Intro: Capture the viewer’s attention within the first 3 seconds.
