Position Summary:
The Interconnect Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and timely processing of all interconnection agreements, permitting, and HOA paperwork. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Coordinator will collaborate with subcontractors to ensure compliance and timely permit submissions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in solar applications, able to thrive in a remote, flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interconnection Agreements:
• Prepare and submit interconnection applications to utility companies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Track and follow up on application statuses, ensuring approvals are received within the 30-day SLA.
• Perform data entry of all relevant application details to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Permitting Coordination:
• Collaborate with subcontractors to guarantee permits are submitted promptly.
• Monitor permitting timelines to prevent delays and maintain workflow continuity.
- HOA Paperwork:
• Manage all HOA documentation and ensure timely approvals.
• Maintain consistent communication with HOA representatives to resolve any issues.
- Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of all applications, permits, and HOA approvals.
• Provide weekly status updates to the Operations Manager.
• Collaboration:
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and utilities to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar applications, permitting, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of U.S. utility and permitting processes is preferred.
- Technology Requirements:
• Must have personal computer equipment and reliable internet access.
• We provide access to all necessary software and platforms.
- Language Skills:
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Work Hours:
• Flexible schedule, with preference for availability until 12 noon Central Time (USA).
