Company Overview:

We are an ecommerce dropshipping company. We own multiple Shopify stores and are always launching new Shopify stores.


Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, particularly with Shopify, and extensive experience negotiating with suppliers and factories in China. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Chinese is a significant plus.


Key Responsibilities:

- Order Fulfillment:
- Process and fulfill customer orders using Shopify and dropshipping fulfillment apps like DSers.
- Monitor order statuses and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Handle any order-related issues promptly and efficiently.

- Supplier Negotiation and Management:
- Communicate with product suppliers and factories in China via platforms like AliExpress and Alibaba.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to secure the best deals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for long-term collaboration.
- Source new suppliers and products to expand our inventory.

- Shopify Administration:
- Manage product listings, including adding new products, updating existing listings, and optimizing product descriptions and images.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Shopify platform.
- Coordinate with Shopify support to address technical problems or inquiries.

- Administrative Tasks:
- Handle invoicing, payments, and financial tracking related to supplier transactions.
- Calculate and report on the cost of goods sold (COGS) for accurate financial planning.
- Maintain organized records of communications, agreements, and transactions with suppliers.

- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers to align on business goals and strategies.
- Provide regular updates on order fulfillment, supplier negotiations, and any challenges encountered.
- Assist with customer service inquiries when needed.


Qualifications:

- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience negotiating with Chinese suppliers and factories.
- Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify.
- Familiarity with dropshipping models and fulfillment apps like DSers.

- Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage but not required.

- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using AliExpress, Alibaba, Shopify, and related e-commerce tools.
- Competent in using communication tools like email, Zoom, Slack, or other team collaboration software.
- Basic understanding of spreadsheets and financial tracking tools.

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

- Other Requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
- A dedicated workspace free from distractions.
