Your Role:
We are seeking a versatile an experienced General Manager to join our team. This role combines operational and people management. It entails leading, training, developing, and overseeing the day-to-day management of the employees to ensure that business performance is optimized. To be successful in this role, you must be able to coordinate business operations, labor delegation, productivity, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, including managing team schedules and availability, resolving escalations and operational gaps, and identifying improvement opportunities.
People Management: Provide team leadership that helps promote company culture and boost employee morale. Implement quality controls, and compliance reviews, and hold tea
Employee Development: Be in charge of onboarding new employees, and training and supervising current employees. Conduct individual performance reviews every cycle aligned with company policies.
Departmental Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to plan short-term and long-term company and departmental goals. Represent the department during leadership meetings.
Operations and Customer Service Expertise: Be familiar with the responsibilities of the team by executing the team’s tasks such as engaging with customers, doing proactive outreach, monitoring compliance activities, maintaining and updating records, and data entry.
Recruitment: Assist HR with recruitment and selection when necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in operations and people management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
Effective interpersonal skills that can foster a collaborative environment.
Highly organized with an exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Exceptional attention to detail and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to evaluate and enhance internal processes, SOPs, and templates to increase efficiency and relevance.
Willing to do individual contributor-type tasks and work independently.
