JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced WooCommerce and WordPress expert to enhance our e-commerce platform. The primary focus of this role is to ensure a flawless and easy-to-navigate checkout experience while also optimizing site performance and ensuring mobile responsiveness. You will be responsible for identifying and fixing coding issues, improving site speed, and ensuring that all analytics are tracking accurately.

This is a project-based opportunity with the potential for future tasks as they arise, rather than an ongoing position. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver high-quality work efficiently and be available on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and enhance the WooCommerce checkout process for seamless user experience on both desktop and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve any coding or functionality issues, especially those affecting the checkout process.
Optimize site speed and performance for both mobile and desktop users.
Ensure the website is fully responsive and mobile-friendly, providing an excellent user experience across all devices.
Ensure accurate tracking of user activity via Google Analytics and other tracking tools.
Implement front-end and back-end improvements to enhance site functionality and user experience.
Requirements:

Proven experience with WooCommerce and WordPress, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce projects.
Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and optimizing WooCommerce websites.
Experience in speed optimization and performance enhancement for WooCommerce sites.
Knowledge of best practices for mobile-first design and ensuring full mobile responsiveness.
Expertise in troubleshooting WooCommerce checkout, payment gateways, and other functionality issues.
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and implementing proper tracking mechanisms.
Attention to detail with the ability to independently solve complex problems.
Strong communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Google Tag Manager and advanced tracking implementations.
Familiarity with image compression, caching, and other techniques for improving site speed.
Previous experience improving conversion rates by optimizing mobile and desktop checkout flows.

Rate of pay if $250 PHP per hour for this role. Time auditing software will be required to be used.
