Summit Recommerce Group (SRG) is a dynamic and fast-growing resale company specializing in apparel, equipment, and accessories. As we continue to expand, we’re searching for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team and help support our continued growth.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Bookkeeper who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about financial accuracy. You’ll be central to our month-end close preparation process, working on financials for multiple entities. You'll be responsible for ensuring that financial statements are completed, review notes are resolved, and the entity’s financials are approved by the financial controller. Because of the nature of month-end close work being due by the 15th, the bulk of your hours will be concentrated in the first half of each month.

Compensation:
This role pays a flat fee of $40 per completed set of books, with each month-end close process typically taking 3-6 hours start to finish. You will be expected to complete a minimum of one entity's month-end close per day. Efficient tea ---------- mbers currently complete up to three entities a day. We are looking to find a bookkeeper for up to 6 entities, and as we continue to grow, there will be opportunities for additional assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Categorize transactions and maintain detailed financial records
- Analyze invoices, identify and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare accrual journal entries
- Organize and maintain workpapers and schedules
- Reconcile debt accounts and collaborate on payroll reconciliation
- Conduct account reconciliations and perform financial analysis
- Review financial statements and promptly resolve notes from the Financial Controller

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and openness to process improvements
