About Us:

We are an established provider of SaaS solutions within the Australian and New Zealand Market with a focus on Allied Health. With a significant new product release imminent, we are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant/Finance Manager to join our remote team in the Philippines.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager, this is a critical role and the successful candidate will initially be responsible for a ground-up review of the entire finance function of the business. Working with the accounts team to review, document and update all accounting processes to ensure efficiency and a strong internal control environment.

From here the Finance Manager will assume responsibility for the day to day financial operations of the businesses four operating entities across 3 countries (Australia, New Zealand and the UK), including but not limited to

- Preparation of forecasting and annual budgets
- Management of current accounts tea ---------- mbers
- Hiring of new resources (as required)
- Cashflow management
- Oversight of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual compliance (e.g. BAS, PAYE Returns, Payroll Tax, etc)
- Preparation of Month End
- Management Reporting
- AP/AR
- Payroll
- Providing timely and accurate reporting to support effective decision making across the business
- Product pricing and revenue management

This role is full time and hours of work are 09:00 - 17:30 (Australia Eastern Standard Time)

About You:

To be successful in this role candidates will require

- A minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a growth software business
- Strong experience of both the Australian and New Zealand tax environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Essential: CPA certification or equivalent – Member PICPA
Preferred: CA certification or equivalent – Associate member PICPA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Experience preparing and managing budgets across multiple currencies
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand and Australian GAAP
- Very strong English language and communication skills
- Self starting with a strong work ethic
