Senior Video Editor/Manager

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor/Manager to lead our team in creating engaging video content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video editing, particularly with the dynamic editing style popularized by creators like Mr. Beast. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and strong leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Oversee the entire post-production process from concept to final delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior video editors, providing training in advanced editing techniques and software.

- Creative Direction: Collaborate with creative teams to shape the narrative and visual style of video content, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Technical Expertise: Implement audio mixing, color correction, and special effects standards while managing complex editing projects.

- Content Production: Edit a variety of video formats for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.

- Quality Control: Review rough cuts and provide constructive feedback to junior editors to ensure high-quality outputs.

- Efficiency: We have 20-minute videos being edited/finished in 8-9 hours using Mr. Beast Style edits and this is the efficiency we need to keep.




Required Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in video editing, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Proven experience with Mr. Beast-style edits is essential.

- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant software.

- Creative Skills: Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and pacing.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with tea ---------- mbers and stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to adapt quickly to changes and resolve challenges that arise during the editing process.



Preferred Qualifications:

- Motion Graphics Skills: Experience in creating motion graphics is a plus.

- Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of current video editing trends, especially those relevant to social media platforms.
