We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling construction-related services and an understanding of the needs of contractors. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our estimating services and lead subscription platform to contractors, subcontractors, and construction firms. Your role will focus on establishing relationships, identifying customer needs, and closing deals that help contractors succeed in their bidding efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
-Actively prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers (contractors, subcontractors, and construction firms) within the NYC region (New York City, Long Island, and Hudson Valley).
-Present and sell Total Bid Data’s estimating services and curated leads platform to prospective clients.
-Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in construction firms, including estimators, project managers, and business owners.
-Conduct product demonstrations and virtual meetings to showcase the platform’s value and how it meets contractors' needs.
-Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals through consistent outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
-Understand and communicate the benefits of our platform’s features, including detailed GC takeoffs, estimating tools, and curated bid opportunities.
-Track all sales activities and interactions in the company’s CRM system.
-Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to continually refine services and product offerings based on client needs and industry trends.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the construction industry, specifically focusing on government sector projects and bid requirements.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction, estimating, or software services industries.
-Familiarity with the construction bidding process and the challenges faced by contractors during estimation and bidding.
-Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to build relationships and close deals with construction professionals.
-Self-motivated, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
-Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Understanding of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
