JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an honest, competent, hard working web developer / programmer who wants a secure, full-time job. You will need to understand PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap and the usual array of normal, web-related languages. If you know Joomla!, Wordpress and Moodle extra awesome. If you know Mautic, extra, extra awesome. You'll 100% need to be, or become familiar with Symfony to work with us - no exceptions.

Salary is up to P20,000 monthly (negotiable for the right person) depending upon your prior experience and previous pay scale. We are based in Manila, and payment is made fortnightly in Pesos, via direct credit to your BPI bank account.

We like to think that we’re a good company to work for and are happy for applicants to speak with some of our other employees first, just to check us out. You'll need reasonable English skills, but will mainly be working under the direction of Tagalog speakers. You will rarely or never have to interact with clients. Your work will be supervised by a degree qualified programmer.

We have had some bad experiences using remote workers - but a whole lot more happy ones. If you think you'll be able to do this job, and do some other work on the side, think again. You'll be allocated work through the Teamwork project management system, with full time tracking on all tasks, including randomised screen shots. We have become completely intolerant of BS. Treat us well, and you'll get the same and more in return.

Lazy, incompetent scammers need not apply.

Interviews will be held over Skype. We want somebody who can start immediately - as in today. This is a LONG TERM position, with a company that has been around for over ten years. If you are just looking for something to fill in for a few months, please look somewhere else. We are honest, decent people who treat our workers very well. We expect the same in return. Call us.

NB: Please people - tell me about your experience with Symfony, Mautic, Moodle and Joomla! and/or actual coding. WordPress development is dead easy and we don't need WordPress developers right now. We are not looking for somebody to build pretty websites - we have designers for that. We need somebody who is capable of understanding raw code and solving real world back-end problems. If this isn't you, this is not the right job for you.
