Job Overview:
We are seeking a Packaging & Logo Designer with specific expertise in designing blister packs, mylar bags, and display boxes. The ideal candidate should not only have strong design skills but also the technical ability to create renders and mock-ups that can be shared with our product team and manufacturing partners. Your designs will play a key role in establishing our products' identity and appeal in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize and design packaging for our products, including blister packs for pills, mylar bags, and display boxes.
Create compelling, innovative, and on-brand logo designs for new product lines.
Design packaging renders that accurately represent final products for both internal use and for presentation to stakeholders.
Develop display box designs that enhance product visibility and appeal in retail settings.
Work with manufacturing partners to ensure packaging designs are feasible for production and meet technical specifications.
Maintain a high standard of creativity while adhering to brand guidelines and legal requirements for packaging.
Requirements:
Proven experience in packaging design with a focus on blister packs, mylar bags, and other pharmaceutical/nutraceutical packaging.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging renders, 3D mockups, and display box designs.
Expertise in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D rendering tools (such as Blender or other relevant software).
Solid understanding of material constraints and production processes for packaging.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and suppliers.
Detail-oriented, with excellent project management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or plant medicine industries.
Understanding of FDA and other regulatory guidelines related to packaging and labeling.
