The position
Please note this is an onsite position in PNG, not a virtual or online position.
We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to assist in managing all facets of our operations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Business Services Manager (BSM) to oversee and manage the thriving service station, other business segments, and administrative staff. You will also collaborate with the directors and owners to ensure efficient operations, while contributing to the development and implementation of company strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Manage staff - recruit, train, develop, monitor performance
• Resolve IT issues - POS, fuel console, all other software and hardware
• Perform accounting tasks
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and contractual requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain risk management systems
Requirements:
• Experience in managing a small group of employees
• Solid level of IT skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with POS systems
• Experience with accounting software is highly regarded
• Experience working in a retail or commercial team environment
• Accounting experience
• Strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal skills in English, university degree
