Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced eCommerce Accountant to manage the financial operations of our multiple eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking expenses, managing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across various platforms. You should have a strong grasp of accounting principles and be well-versed in using accounting software to monitor and analyze the financial health of each store.

Key Responsibilities:
Track and record all expenses, including purchases, returns, fees, and shipping costs for each eCommerce store.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each store, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements and payment platforms (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) with accounting software.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting for multiple eCommerce platforms.
Ensure all transactions are properly categorized for tax preparation and compliance.
Generate and manage invoices for vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Prepare and manage sales tax filings and other compliance-related tasks for various regions.
Collaborate with the management team to provide insights on financial performance and suggest ways to optimize profitability.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Assist with the development of financial strategies and pricing models.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably in the eCommerce industry.
Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, etc.) and payment processors (Stripe, PayPal).
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting.
Experience with multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange management is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting for eCommerce businesses.
Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management is a plus.
Familiarity with eCommerce-specific accounting challenges such as platform fees, refunds, and cross-border taxation.
