Position: Offshore Bookkeeper

Overview
We are seeking to expand our offshore team with experienced Australian client Bookkeepers to support the ongoing bookkeeping and payroll processing needs of our SME clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for your assigned clients, managing queries and bookkeeping tasks with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive bookkeeping services using QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB for a diverse range of SME clients, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and management of accounts payable and receivable.
Process payroll and superannuation for clients accurately and on time.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all financial records are current and accurate.
Delegate tasks and oversee the work of junior bookkeepers, offering mentorship and guidance to ensure timely and precise completion of assignments.
Address client queries promptly, escalating issues as necessary to maintain high service standards.
Ensure that clients receive exceptional service in every interaction.
Provide support to clients in utilizing accounting software tools and systems effectively.
Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping roles, preferably within a public practice environment or managing multiple clients.
Strong knowledge of BAS/IAS, end-of-month journals, and asset register maintenance.
Proven experience in mentoring and reviewing work performed by junior staff.
Proficient in MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, and payroll systems, along with familiarity with other accounting software tools.
Ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Strong multitasking skills with an effective prioritization of workload.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
