**Customer Service Agent (Part-Time, Remote, Graveyard shift)**

**Position Overview:**
We are hiring a part-time, remote Customer Service Agent to join our team. If you are sharp, smart, and friendly, we would love to work with you for many years to come!

Pay rate: 30 day probationary period paid at $4.00 USD per hour, and then $4.50 USD per hour thereafter.

**Company Overview:**
Since 2005, our company provides private, 1-on-1 tutoring to high school students in California. We specialize in helping students improve their grades and achieve academic success. You can learn more about us at ----------

**Work Schedule:**
Our company is based in California, USA, so our business hours are 10am-7:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Thus, you will be working during the “Graveyard Shift” in Philippine Standard Time.

- June-July: 5-10 hours per week
- August-May (Busy Season): 15 hours per week
- Shift times - Your schedule will alternate depending on business needs.
Our working hours are:
Early morning (graveyard shift) 2:30 AM - 10:30 AM Philippine Time on Weekdays
- Sunday/Monday, 12:00 AM (midnight) - 5:00 AM Philippine Time

**Role and Responsibilities:**
- Your primary role will be to create invoices 4-5 days per MONTH (30-35 hours per month)
- In addition, we will book you about 2 days (8-12 hours per week) to assist our full-time employees
- Answer phone calls and book appointments
- Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent customer service to American clients
- Solve minor customer service issues directly with clients
- Work closely with supervisors based in California, USA
- Most of your client interactions are centered around their scheduling and billing requests. You will seldom encounter difficult clients.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service office position
- Experience speaking with American or Western clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during early morning hours (Philippine Time)
- Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant (VA) is required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent computer skills (Google mail, Google Sheets, Zoom)
- Typing speed: 70 words per minute or faster
