Remote Accounting Manager

Responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), the incumbent will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate, income, VAT, etc.).
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the organization's financial health, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Accounting Systems: Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate record-keeping.
Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Audits: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings.
Financial Planning: Assist in developing and managing the organization's financial budget.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
Willing to work US time
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
