About The Gaygency:
The Gaygency is a bold, activist-driven LGBTQ+ marketing agency based in New York City, committed to creating authentic, impactful campaigns that empower LGBTQIA+ businesses and allies. We’re looking for a creative and versatile Content Specialist to help bring our clients’ brands to life through stunning visuals and compelling digital content across platforms.

Responsibilities:
As a Content Specialist at The Gaygency, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing content that aligns with our clients’ brand voices and marketing strategies. Your key tasks will include:
Graphic Design:
Develop eye-catching visuals for digital and print materials that align with campaign goals and brand identities.
Design graphics for social media, emails, websites, and marketing collateral, ensuring they resonate with LGBTQ+ audiences.
Photo Editing:
Edit and enhance photos for various marketing purposes, ensuring high-quality visual standards are met.
Create photo collages or edits that align with the bold, activist-driven aesthetic of our clients’ campaigns.
Video Editing:
Edit and create short and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Incorporate graphics, text overlays, and music to produce engaging and shareable video content.
Social Media Content Creation:
Develop platform-specific content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, ensuring that the format, tone, and style match each platform’s audience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content calendars that include graphics, photos, and videos designed to engage audiences.
Other Content Pieces:
Create a variety of content types, such as infographics, animations, GIFs, and banners, that complement campaign strategies and drive engagement.
Work with the Account Manager and Marketing Strategist to align content with broader marketing strategies and goals.
Trend Monitoring & Platform Optimization:
Stay up to date with content trends and platform updates (especially TikTok and Instagram) to ensure The Gaygency’s clients are at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
A/B Testing Visuals:
Conduct A/B testing of visuals across platforms to determine what resonates most with the target audience.
Storyboarding & Pre-Production Planning:
Create storyboards for video content and manage the pre-production process to ensure a smooth and efficient video creation process.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure all visual content aligns with clients' brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and cohesive look and feel across all channels.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for a candidate who is versatile, creative, and passionate about LGBTQ+ advocacy. Here’s what you need to bring to the table:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, photo editing, and video editing, with a portfolio that showcases your versatility.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar tools, and other content creation platforms like Canva.
Video Editing Skills: Strong experience in editing videos for social media platforms, especially YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Photo Editing Expertise: A keen eye for enhancing and editing photos to align with campaign aesthetics and high-quality standards.
Social Media Savvy: Familiar with the nuances of creating content for specific platforms, particularly YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and ensure all content is visually consistent and high-quality.
LGBTQ+ Advocacy: Passion for creating authentic and inclusive content that speaks to the heart of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Nice to Have:
Motion Graphics & Animation: Experience with creating animations or motion graphics to add dynamic elements to videos and other visual content.
