We’re looking for an innovative and strategic Marketing Strategist to join our team and help shape the future of our clients' success.
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Strategist at The Gaygency, you’ll be responsible for developing strategies that drive growth and advocacy for LGBTQ+ brands. Your key tasks will include:
Long & Short-Term Strategy Development: Craft both long-lead and short-lead strategies to meet clients’ immediate and future goals.
Seasonal & Quarterly Planning: Create seasonal and quarterly marketing strategies that capitalize on key dates and events.
Multi-Channel Campaign Strategies: Develop comprehensive, cross-channel marketing strategies, leveraging digital, social media, influencer marketing,
Collaboration with Account Manager: Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure strategies align with client KPIs, and contribute to long-term account growth.
Market & Audience Research: Conduct thorough market and competitor research to inform strategies and ensure that campaigns are relevant, bold, and aligned with the needs of LGBTQ+ audiences.
Content & Creative Brief Development: Collaborate with content specialists and the creative team to ensure that strategies are brought to life with high-impact messaging and visuals.
Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet client objectives.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay ahead of marketing trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas that push the boundaries of LGBTQ+ advocacy and marketing.
Brand Positioning & Messaging: Work with clients to refine their brand positioning and messaging to ensure it resonates authentically with LGBTQ+ audiences.
Client Education: Help educate clients on the importance of innovative strategies and how to leverage data to inform decisions.
Campaign Testing & Experimentation: Test new channels, strategies, or messaging techniques to constantly innovate and evolve our approach to marketing.
ROI Optimization: Focus on driving measurable ROI across all marketing channels, ensuring that every strategy contributes to the bottom line while maintaining authenticity.
Crisis Management & Adaptation: Quickly pivot strategies in response to market shifts or unexpected challenges, ensuring clients' campaigns remain impactful.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who sees the bigger picture and isn’t afraid to think outside the box. Here’s what you need to bring to the table:
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in marketing strategy, preferably with LGBTQ+ brands or advocacy campaigns.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop long-term and short-term strategies that drive growth and engagement.
Creative Thinker: Strong ability to develop innovative, multi-channel strategies that push the boundaries of traditional marketing.
Collaboration Skills: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, especially Account Managers and creative teams, to bring strategies to life.
Data-Driven: You’re confident in analyzing data and using insights to inform your marketing strategies.
LGBTQ+ Advocacy: Deep understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community and its values, ensuring all strategies align with The Gaygency’s commitment to authenticity and representation.
Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and timelines simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
Is a member of the LGBTQ+ community or is a staunch ally for all in the LGBTQ+ community,
Experience in Influencer Marketing: Experience developing influencer campaigns that align with larger marketing strategies.
