Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for trenching projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and opportunities for cost savings.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather and verify information.

Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain detailed spreadsheets for cost tracking and analysis.

Ensure all estimates are completed with a high level of attention to detail and efficiency.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents and submissions.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in estimating and trenching operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Must have experience in Estimating in Australian Standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex models and analyze data.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
