About Us:

Hobby Store Group Ltd. is a leading retailer of hobby toys, including collectable model cars, aircraft, and RC vehicles. We are passionate about delivering high-quality products to our customers and are seeking a Product and Merchandising Coordinator to support our merchandising and product management activities. This role will play a key part in ensuring our products are well-represented and consistently available online and in-store.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Listing:

Create and maintain product listings across all digital platforms, ensuring descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and optimised for search visibility (SEO).
Regularly update product information, including stock availability, features, and specifications, to provide customers with the most accurate and current details.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure new product launches and promotions are reflected online.


Merchandising Support:

Assist the Merchandising Manager in product selection, inventory planning, and purchasing decisions.
Monitor product performance and sales trends to identify opportunities for increasing sales and adjusting stock levels.
Help maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring products are correctly categorised and listed.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock and resolve any issues with orders or inventory discrepancies.

Product Data and Inventory Management:

Maintain product databases, including SKU management, pricing updates, and stock level monitoring.
Track and analyse inventory data to ensure product availability and prevent overstock or stockouts.
Assist in the execution of price changes, seasonal promotions, and markdowns in collaboration with the Merchandising Manager

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with purchasing, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product launches and promotional activities.
Support the preparation and distribution of newsletters, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor products, providing insights to the Merchandising Manager.

Qualifications:

Experience in product management, merchandising, or a related field, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge or passion for hobby toys, collectable models, or similar products is a plus.
